I got great news yesterday. My quest to get a well- known writer to write the intro for G.L.W.Y.D. has been fulfilled in a way that I never could have imagined! I got a guy whose work I absolutely worship, and he turns out to be a nice fella too! But out of respect for the writer in question, I won't reveal who it is. (Neener neener nee-ner!) Because I don't know that he/she would be cool with that. I'll release the hounds when the collection has come together.
But trust me...IT"S ALL GOOD, BABY!

Mr. Boatman,
I came across your name on a list of notable "Thornton Township High School" grads.
I am a teacher of Speech and English at Thornton, and was wondering if you'd ever be in the area and willing to come speak to a couple classes.
I'd be just as interested in your writing experience as your speaking/acting experience.
